It was a very untypical Fan Fair day!  Not overly hot, just pleasantly warm with a refreshing breeze and a hint of showers.  The lazy flow of the Cumberland River in the background just seemed to make the setting perfect.  Seating was on the concrete ledges of the hill or on the grass itself so you could easily move from stage to stage when the time came for the next act.
