Being the guys guest at this venue gave me an entirely different outlook
on things... it was neat. People were lined up for the free show as
early as noon when I arrived. I went in about 15 minutes before the
7pm show and was escorted to a roped off VIP seating. I could live
with that at all concerts!!
The concert itself was one of the best that I've seen the guys do. They were smoking! In speaking with Jimmy's sons Sutherland and Josh before the show, they mentioned that the show the previous week was a knock out show and they were hoping for the same that night. Believe me, it was. The sound was excellent and since the venue is wide open and out in the middle of the gaming area that was a super feat for Tony who was working the sound board. The crowd obviously agreed as they gave them a great standing ovation. The photos aren't that good since I had taken a small camera with me and the flash was not strong enough but it gives you an idea of what it was like.
