BODLES OPERA HOUSE
Chester, New York

The quaint rural folk house type setting proved to be exactly the type of atmosphere needed for Dan to weave his magic spell... With a set that ranged from the rocking "Bop" to the through provoking "We Are One" he proceeded to charm the audience on that rainy Friday night in May. |

With the base guitar player, Duke, leading the crowd; the mood of
the evening was established right out of the box with "Big Wheels In The
Moonlight" - the first of many number one hits of the evening.
Another classic "Rage On" spoke of inner turmoil with wonderful harmonies from all. "Headin' West" was a definite toe tapper. The powerful ballard "San Antone" was born one night in New York City. A Texan with a longing for home! The harmonies are exquisite. |

Light banter with Duke and Porter lead Dan into singing "My Old Yellow
Car". This is a wonderful song which was written by Tom Schulyer several
years ago. Dan heard the song while working with Tom in Canada one
year and finally was able to add the song to his newest album at that time.
Remember the days when you were foot loose and fancy free? Well the next two songs were reminders of days gone by. "I'd Really Love To See You Tonight" was followed by "Love Is The Answer". |
